The last frost?

It was a bright, still morning here at Epsom at 0600, a relief after the strong winds of the past few days. But there was a slight frost visible on our extension roof. I wouldn't like to say that it was the first since that reported at the beginning of April, on the morning of All Fools' Day, but maybe it will be the last this year. Before the winter kicks in that is.

And if it stays still, I may well get the bicycle out, for the first time since the start of lockdown, for today's exercise. With the excuse to leave the premises being a warfarin test. Coincidentally, the last occasion was the day before the frost just mentioned. On which occasion, I walked. Perhaps I had not quite given up on trolleys. It was also the time of our epidemic of mice, about which I had completely forgotten.

PS: despite the confusion caused by some events taking place some days before they are posted and by the times of posts being given in PST (or is it PDT? Pacific Standard Time and Pacific Daylight Time respectively), one can usually check because the Blogger version of snaps retains the Microsoft date stamp from my telephone, the local time and date here in the UK, mostly visible if you hover over the snap in question in Edge. Fully visible if you right click, copy link and paste the entire link into Notepad.
