Series 2, Episode I

There was a socially distanced street party in Grandpa's road today, kicking off with a recording of a speech by Churchill, last seen, not at his best, in season one of the Crown, notice of which can be found at reference 1.

In between times, Grandpa thought it would be a good idea to provide some entertainment with the dancing water bowl, the like of which no-one seemed to have seen before. It was in pretty good form, dancing at the four ordinal points, although the dancing was not spreading very far out into the middle.

Unfortunately, he had forgotten to invite Polly and her friends, so when he had finished and put the bowl away, and had moved into the extension for a spot of ITV3, they sneaked out into the garage - near enough indoors as far as Baby Bear's vertigo was concerned (see reference 2), and climbed up into the bowl. Baby Bear thought he was special and climbed into the grappling iron used on ice slopes out in Nepal and trolleys here in Epsom. Maybe he had been watching the video at reference 3.

PS 1: the red toboggan to the right of the bowl probably not suitable for Nepal, lightweight though it may be. Not used for some years now.

PS 2: Saturday morning: taking a look at North Face, I find that they are involved in quite a lot of videos of more or less extreme climbing and mountain activities, mostly delivered through their Facebook page, rather than through Microsoft. Including one about a young lady on an indoor climbing wall in what looked like a large concert hall, complete with very attentive audience. I hadn't known that this sort of thing was quite such an organised spectator sport. Presumably they had to pay to get in.
