We have now planted a first plant in the ground liberated by the action noticed at reference 1.
After erroneous talk of rock roses, we now think that we have a variety of sedum, possibly sedum kamtschaticum, otherwise Kamtschatka, Russian or Angelina Stonecrop. Confusingly, said to come from the Urals rather than Kamchatka (spelt without the 'ts').
A plant which has been living in a patio pot for the last year or so, a gift from a neighbour. We will see how it gets on its new home, which will be very dry in the summer (being under an oak tree) and which will only get the sun in the middle of the day.
