The brick scene

Now covering a total of 45 days. 1,584 bricks, 210,5672 horizontal yards and 4,752 vertical yards. Two third the height of Mount Everest.

Poor performance around the end of April, start of May accounted for by rain in the first instance and a surge of gardening chores in the second.

This afternoon's shift was combined with a trial of the new lawn sprinkler, noticed in the previous post. Works well in combination, as I can move the sprinkle around every second visit or so, getting quite good ground coverage by the end of the shift. My impression was that while the surface of the ground might look dry enough - and be dry enough for young grass - it is wet enough a few inches down. Does not take much for puddles to form.
