Five trolleys had accumulated in the passage to the station in our absence, scored as three, as three journeys were involved; two across the market to the M&S food hall and one to Wilko.
The large trolley on the left had perhaps been used for some joy riding, as one wheel no longer made contact with the ground and the back panel had been forced out of the basket. Perhaps it will be condemned by M&S, but the trolley is their problem and they can deal with it. I left it in the stack, in the absence of an M&S person to hand to consult, but by the time I came back with the two small trolleys, someone had moved it to one side, clearly not seeing it as being fit for their shopping. Despite the fact that it worked perfectly well, child in the seat or no.
