One might have thought that in the newly refurbished UK headquarters for the Society for the Propagation of Concrete Thought (SPCT), that is to say the Queen Elizabeth Hall, that they would manage the real thing.
This being a snap of one end of secondary bar, the one to the right as you go in, the one nearest the Purcell Room. Fake shuttered concrete if you please.
Perhaps the chap in charge of the bar had a sense of humour and thought that papier mâché concrete struck just the right note.
