Waiting for the right part of ITV3 to come on-stream yesterday evening, we took in a game of Scrabble, record breaking in two respects.
First, our joint score was getting on for 600, a household best.
Second, possibly for the first time ever, I scored 50 for using all my tiles, which combined with a triple word (just one) took my score for the go to 92, a personal best. With the winning word being 'drafting' and including some reasonable individual letter scores.
PS: as can be seen from the snap, we have moved onto photocopier paper from the backs of used cereal boxes favoured by FIL. Not even pre-printed on one side, a real splash-out.
