Google

This morning, Google saw fit to pop into my gmail inbox an advertisement from an outfit called David Nieper, who seem to be into leisure wear for the more mature customer. What do they know that I have missed out on? Do their algorithms know all about lock-ins?

And given that they can make a very good guess at my age, supposing that is that they have not found out what my age actually is, what on earth would they have dug up for me had I been twenty years younger? Or twenty years older for that matter? Mind boggles.
