The bacon is being fried as is proper, rather than being grilled - this last seeming to be preferred in google images - but it is being fried in a non-stick pan, of which I do not approve. All that carcinogenic black stuff going down the throat. As to the frying medium, I can't tell from the picture what it is being fried in; perhaps a true cognoscenti could.
Cooked just about to a turn. I hope whoever took the picture whipped the bacon off the flame as soon as he had taken it - the bubbles suggesting that it was on the flame at the time of taking.
