Figurative

I like to dabble from time to time in what I am pleased to call abstract expressionism, although I dare say it is some way from the abstraction of the real thing. See, for example, reference 1.

However, today the Monday Supervisor (MS) insisted that I attempt something more figurative, with the snap left showing how far I got with what was supposed to be a hippopotamus before she decided that she had better take over, in black.

Perhaps it would be well next time if I were to use a photograph as a starting point.
