Community affairs

A rather sickly looking tree outside Newplan House in East Street, Epsom. The occupier of Newplan House is some part of the Atkins engineering company, once proud to be independent of Epsom, now part of a Canadian engineering company, SNC Lavalin,  a company which appears to have a similar history and to do much the same sort of thing.

The tree may be suffering from nothing more serious than a shortage of water, and it irritates me when people let this happen right under their noses, so I emailed the address given on their website politely suggesting that they do something about it. Maybe ask the chap on the front desk to pour a few buckets of water through the grill provided from time to time.

So far, no response. Community affairs only reaches so far.
