Trolley 358

Very quiet in Epsom at 1000 this morning. Wetherspoon's open. Café Uno open. McDonald's open. Computer Exchange open. TK Maxx opened to a short queue on the tenth dong of the clock tower bell. Pretty much everywhere else shut. And although there were some trolleys, I would have been unable to return them, so not scorable.

The streets were curiously clean, with very little of the litter and rubbish one associates with important festivals. Surely the council had not been out sweeping before 1000?

However, taking a detour around the back of Sainsburys' at Kiln Lane, I came across this more or less mint condition trolley more or less opposite the Mercedes dealer there. Not quite brand new as there were a few scratches, but it did look very new. Bright, shiny metalwork with no signs of weathering. The first trolley of the new year.

Sainsbury's was open but not very busy and the trolley stacks outside the main entrance were as full as I remember seeing them.
