Trolley 330

A first! A trolley from Pets at Home in East Street, sturdy enough, but more like a Wilko's trolley than a Sainsbury's trolley.

Captured out front, outside the shop, but I thought it fair to score it, first because to get there it must have been wheeled around from the car park around the back, the front door not being trolley exit capable, second because it was a first.

The chap inside was most puzzled about how it came to be out front. Why would anyone bother? The shop was intended for people with cars who would park out the back, not pedestrians. At least not pedestrians wanting to buy enough stuff to need a trolley.

More entertainment when I got around to the Costcutter in Manor Green Road where three ladies eating snacks outside were crowded around a poster in the window, I think about a youth or young man who had been banned from various shops in the area, I imagine the same sort of scheme as pubs used to run. 'Oooo look', said one. 'Our Darren's been banned from Kiln Lane'. 'Can you still get in?', she said, turning to ladies two and three. Or something like that. All very cheerful about it. Possibly traveller stock.
