Trolley 323

Two large format trolleys from the M&S food hall, no longer new, captured in the Ashmore passage.

After their return, I paid a visit to the Waitrose a few yards along, where I learned that the pink'un does not count as a free newspaper on presentation of a my Waitrose card, despite purchases (including kippers) totalling near £30. Up to and including the weekday Guardian but no further?

And while I type this, a grey squirrel has been happily taking lunch from the yew tree next door, taking about 20 seconds to deal with each berry, or perhaps with the stone inside. Presumably not fatal to squirrels, despite the taxine, the subject of an important if not wholly accurate work by Agatha. I believe foxes eat them too.
