Wellingtonia 4

This Wellingtonia was captured off Horton Lane, in what used to be the grounds of Long Grove Hospital, now in a bit of green space sandwiched between Horton Golf Club and the rather pretentiously named Clarendon Park Estate.

I now know that it is not easy to identify particular trees from an aerial view, even big ones like this one. My excuse being that the view offered by gmaps is confused by shadows.

And looking back over the trees I have captured so far, I am impressed by the variety of shape & formation - not easily captured by an identification aid on paper or screen.
