Warm and peaceful on Hook Road Arena this morning. A few dog walkers here and there, the odd jogger - but social distancing not really a problem. Maybe we shall try a picnic some day soon.
Chessington Road beyond the far hedge, with Ewell West a hundred yards or so to the right. Hook Road a hundred yards or so behind the telephone.
At least the grass has had a rest this year, long dry spells apart, not having to put up with any car boot sales this year - for which the grass snapped above is usually the car park, usually full on a fine Sunday. We haven't been to a car boot sale for a while, but I can't see us going to one until social distancing is over. No fun if there are no crowds and no jostling.
