Wellingtonia 2

The second Wellingtonia is also from the estate behind what is left of St. Ebba's Hospital. Pity about the lamp post but I could not get it out of the snap without getting the sun in. As it was, I was standing in someone's front drive. But not caught in flagrente delicto.

At least one more to go here, but I have not yet seen how to get near enough to snap it. May have to try the other side of town.

Thought about going to Camberley this afternoon to see the Wellingtonia there, noticed in the previous post, but decided that a 60 mile round trip was not quite the thing yet, whatever Bullingdon Boris might have to say about it. Stuck with Scrabble instead, but after a substantial rather than liquid lunch - mince with spaghetti - a usually reliable dish in both public houses and Italian flavoured restaurants, not to mention our own home - we only managed a rather low combined score, of the order of 450. Sadly, we only do 550 occasionally and have yet to break the 600 barrier.
