Trolley 293

Captured in the passage between Sainsbury's and the West Street footbridge over the railway. Not sure what the story was here, with the trolley having been dumped with four bags, still more or less in one piece, appearing to contain household rubbish.

I didn't like to leave the bags there and I didn't like to return the trolley to the front door. However, the Sainsbury's store at Kiln Lane does have a back door, in the form of a yard which it shares with Halfords. A yard which looks like a proper goods entrance, with unloading bays. So I left the trolley, with its bags, just inside.

Sainsbury's might complain that it is not their rubbish, but my view is that it is their trolley and they almost certainly have dustbins which can cope with a bit of extra rubbish. Much better than leaving it lying around in the passage, where, in another day or so the bags would probably have burst and the rubbish would be spreading out.
