Cortana fails

The view to the south east from outside our hotel yesterday evening, with the Rampion wind farm occupying the left hand half of the horizon. Named for the Sussex county flower.

Due to some quirk in atmospheric conditions, the windmills were much more clearly visible in the evening than they had been during the day, despite the horizon being sharp enough.

But, for once, the camera on my telephone made a worse job of capturing the scene than the eye. The windmills, which were clearly visible to the naked eye, appear to be more or less invisible to Cortana, with zoom on the original snap on this laptop only revealing windmill shaped smudges.

PS: campaigners will be pleased to learn that 'Rampion Offshore Wind Limited is committed to both the statutory requirements under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and to acting with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships to have a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery. This is a position which it expects all of its suppliers to respect and adopt'.
