What passes for a piano at the large & curious church of St. George, at Arreton, to which I shall return in due course. A Yamaha Clavinova.
On the way to reference 1, I learn that you can certainly pay between £700 and £2,600 for such an instrument, and I dare say the full range is even larger. The catch being that I have no idea whether £2,600 is a lot for a piano - other than that it would not go far in the Steinway showroom near the Wigmore Hall.
While at reference 1, I learn that this brand of pianos has been made for at least 35 years, so they must have had something going for them.
