Piano 16

With this instrument being in the office which Victoria and Albert shared in Osborne House. An instrument which the duty trusty assured me was indeed a piano, its unusual appearance being due to its being of a French design.

With the picture noticed at reference 3 hanging above. Sadly, the lighting of the room and the roping off of the centre of the room meant that it did not look anything like as good in real life as it did in reproduction.

But I might say that Osborne House included a good deal of this sort of thing, including a good number of bronzes, both male and female. The sort of thing which stands about a foot or so high.
