Fake 77

A fine potted plant on our fine new ferry from Portsmouth, with two big ferries seeming to have replaced the rather larger number of smaller ferries we had before. With this one involving a fine new sun deck, just underneath the bridge.

The plant was made out of a real central twig into which the plastic branches had been plugged, fixed there with some kind of brown paste, several shades darker than that of the real twig.

PS: while the black BT router at our cottage on the Isle of Wight looks rather like the one we have at home at Epsom, and sports the same steady blue light when it is working, broadband speed is pretty dire compared with that we have there. I even went so far as to reboot the router, which seems to have made things slightly, although not greatly better. All very tiresome - the fact that not much more than ten years ago one was using a dial-up line which had trouble with text, never mind pictures, notwithstanding. Dial-up lines which I think went in Kb/sec rather than the Mb/sec we have now.
