Trolleys 184a, 184b and 184c

The additional trolleys mentioned yesterday at reference 1 have acquired a new recruit, although I have not yet investigated whether its handle is still in working order. Or whether it can be put back into working order.

But the original three to the right have now been returned to the M&S food-hall, taking the route past Wetherspoon's and in through the Ashley Centre entrance, where the trolley stacks are, on the grounds that I would probably not be thanked for wheeling three trolleys in through the length of this rather cluttered store.

Given the handle mounted contraptions I had been hoping for some modest monetary reward, or at the very least a token, when I clicked the string into the stack, but no joy. There is provision, but it seems to have been disabled.

Wheeled in one, so scored as one, as the rules require.

And on the way out, I noticed that M&S seem to have reduced the space given over to booze to make more room for Christmas biscuits, Christmas chocolates and so on. Probably tasteful selections of Christmas crackers - the pulling sort that is, rather than the take-with-cheese sort. Perhaps this particular store does not do a great business in booze, despite their normally respectable selection of white wine. Even the odd fancy bottle. See reference 2.
