Trolley 200

Trolley 200 was captured from the alley beside Viceroy Cars, presumably abandoned by a shopper getting Viceroy to take him or her home. From the M&S food hall. So I made the 200 with a few days to spare.

The current plan is to celebrate at Caldesi of reference 3, after a spot of string quartet in Wigmore Street.

I thought, fleetingly, about some Bowmore Islay malt, the offering that comes in at 98.8% proof, but decided against. Also against one of their rather grander offerings, some of which come in at hundreds, or even thousands of pounds. I wonder how many smoking tipplers have set themselves on fire with the proof stuff?

In which connection, I was reading just yesterday evening, that smoking is good for Parkinson's disease. Results a bit mixed, but on the whole it seems to help. So maybe in a hundred years time people will be scurrying around trying to find some medicinal tobacco, the regular sort having been squeezed out of existence.

PS: is there some geek out there who can compute how often I use the word 'presumably' and how that compares with the average? My guess would be that I am well above average. 'Perhaps' also. Or perhaps go the whole hog, and compare and contrast more generally. Proper little project for someone: a work experience person or an intern with access to decent computers for whom one cannot find anything sensible to do?
