Trolley 316

A M&S trolley in the Ashmore Passage, complete with a broken down chair. A chair which, until recently was entire, if abandoned, but presumably some bit of night life thought it would be cool to smash it up and load up the trolley.

A first in that the trolley basket had become detached from the undercarriage, to which I now know it should be fixed by a couple of pivots at the back and a couple of clips in the middle. Clips which looked to me to be clip-on only, rather than clip-on and clip-off. Nevertheless, I managed to put it all back together again. See next post.

Returned the stack at M&S, where I discovered that the trolley was very slightly smaller than those already there, a matter of millimetres, and all of which had the handle lock fitted, absent from this one. Was this one a refugee from the rather smaller M&S in Ashtead, a few miles down the road? And if it was, why on earth would anyone bother to move it to Epsom?
