Fungus

A large clump of mushrooms - or perhaps fungi - turned up while we were away on our back lawn, behind the southern hedge, not far beyond the extension. Not something we get very often.

Should we be eating them in an omelette, with my being rather partial to mushroom omelettes, when made properly, at home? After all, I seem to recall that very few are poisonous, despite their reputation. Against that, it does help to know which ones.
