Trolley 308

Captured on the back passage, next to the filling station, before you get into the Sainsbury's car park proper. The second Sainsbury's trolley of the day on which the wheel lock had failed to deploy.

I thought it fair to score it as it was not captured in the same place as trolley 307, even if they were pushed across the car park together.

The regular trolley stack was nearly exhausted when I got there, so presumably a busy day, and the Sunday boy was not keeping up. I noticed that he was wheeling a very short string, so perhaps he had yet to learn that the long strings favoured by the regular trolley jockeys were more efficient. Or maybe he was just being a touch lazy after a busy night in some or other under-age den.

Rewarded by the sight of a rat crossing the path onto the bank of the stream, just a few feet ahead of me on Longmead Road. A dirty brown, with maybe five inches of body and four inches of tail.
