Trolley 312

Back on the Ewell Village anti-clockwise today, after yesterday's partial clockwise effort. In the course of which I noticed that they have started to mince the tree trunk noticed at reference 2. Oddly, the people doing it have only done some of it and have left a large pile of chippings. No doubt they will be back in due course to finish the job.

But why not just leave the log, let it rot down slowly in one piece, rather than burn a lot of oil and make a lot of noise in order to do something else with it? And if you don't want it littering Clayhill Green, I am sure that there is some secluded corner of the common where it could have gone.

The M&S trolley mentioned yesterday (reference 1) was behind bars today. That is to say still in the same place, but with the gates shut. Vision but no access. While the trolley in East Street was still there, now returned to Kiln Lane.
