Piano 12

Piano 12 was scored in the oddly named Acne Studio in Dover Street. Presumably having been painted yellow, nothing very creditable underneath. Do they bother to keep it in tune? I did think to phone them up to ask; but thinking some more decided that a personal call is the right way to approach such a matter as it is all to easy to get a brush off on the phone. Perhaps next time I am in Piccadilly during the day.

Acne being a Swedish fashion house with a multi-disciplinary approach, whatever that might mean in this context. Rather a small shop in Dover Street, given their impressive international footprint, for which see the store finder at reference 1, assuming one gets past the busy and irritating opening page.

Having scored a slightly dodgy piano, by way of balance, I also record not scoring the Goat in nearby Stafford Street as a fake, having been in Nicolson's house opposite and noticed that the building occupied by the Goat is probably post war, perhaps a rebuild after bomb damage, with all the old style public house, brown wood interior not being as old as it might look. Not scored as I vaguely remember scoring it as a fake before, although I cannot now put my hand on the post.
