A tweet!

But of a goods train, rather than a bird.

A goods train which appeared to be made up of tank trucks, tweeted going over the bridge at West Street as I was going under it. Where, I am glad to say, the large puddle that had reappeared yesterday had drained away.

Rather smaller and rougher looking tank trucks than those snapped above. These last being the sort of thing used to move oil and oil products from the west of Canada to the east of Canada, with the occasional disastrous mishap often prompting calls for the traffic to be banned, at least anywhere near big towns.

Goods trains being something of a rarity around Epsom these days, although I did get one at Clapham Junction on my first visit to London after the first lockdown. As noticed towards the end of reference 1.

PS: later on, we went one better and completed our first real zoom meeting after having had a test on Friday. Apart from the volume not being great, a problem for the older ear, it seems to work pretty well. And thinking of various accidents that have been reported in the media, let's hope that the little light next to the camera built into the screen of this HP laptop is a reliable indicator of when the camera and microphone are up and running!
