The search for vehicle No.26 continues. I have had a 30, a 29, a 28 and today a No.27 - but no No.26, except as the trailing part of a three digit number. Not yet sunk that low.
On the other hand, yesterday I saw a large white panel van in Jubilee Way, anonymous apart from a discrete sign saying 'Escort Vehicle' and a plate with number something like '0007 EZB'. Unusual to get that many leading digits. Nothing nearby which looked like it needed escorting. So a puzzle.
And today I saw a pair of white vans at Hook on the A243, obviously travelling together, one with plate 'N1 RUG' and the other with 'N2 RUG'. Both for some rug company, but I forget to memorise enough of the name to find it now. I can see the point of paying good money for that sort of plate.
