Not quite up to the full-on, full-flashing, multi-coloured standard to be found on the other side of Hook Road, sometimes including suitable inflatables on the roof, but not bad by the standards of our estate.
In the days when we had an electrical contractor living just up the road, I did once think of getting him to do the full-Monty for us. But I was unable to convince the rest of the family that this was a good plan and it did not seem so funny when I learned how much it might cost to install - and how much more to turn it on every night. So it never came to anything more than a suitable illuminated ornament in a front window.
