I learn this morning from a combination of Edge, Microsoft News and the Boston Globe, that while some parts of the globe are in the grip of a dangerous new flu virus and other parts are plagued by fire, East Africa is in the grip of a plague of locusts, the worst for years. Set to get worse before the dry season in the middle of the year damps them down.
I wonder if these locusts can be put down to global warming, along with so much else?
