I failed to take a reading yesterday evening, with the moon being invisible from within the house and it being too late at 2100 to go outside. But the moon was estimated to have been 20 degrees above the western horizon at 0700 UTC this Wednesday morning.
Starting to have thoughts about the merits of a rod pendulum rather than a bob and line pendulum. The latter is easy to make but is probably more fiddly to use than a rod.
