Daffodils

The new daffodil bed has had another bad year this year, with perhaps three of the several dozen bulbs there coming into bud, and with just two of those  making it into flower.

While the narcissus tête-à-tête snapped left, almost certainly recycled from a pot bought for indoor display, are doing alright. Will they succumb to whatever it is that is doing for their larger relatives next year?

There are also some primroses coming on.
