Fake 112

Being both ecological and careful, rather than buying a new souvenir bag from Ashburton during our recent visit to Devon, we took this one down with us. And in the event, the only time we were in Ashburton was when we stopped to buy milk and butter in the small Co-op on the way through to Holne, having mistaken the location of the proper supermarket.

But later on, we were amused to find that this rustic looking bag, for all the world hand-crafted by the ladies of Ashburton, had actually been made by the ladies of somewhere in Thailand. The ladies of Ashburton having priced themselves out of the market.

Leaving us to wonder where the design was printed on? If not in Thailand, perhaps in some fancy goods warehouse up north? The people at reference 2, known to have an Ashburton connection?
