Ever since a road near us sported a conspicuous if small Lamborghini, as noticed at reference 1, I have been keeping an eye out for them.
So interested to find that our holiday cottage on the edge of Dartmoor had one, in tractor format.
I think the story is that a Lamborghini started in tractors and then he, or a relative, went onto cars. At some point the tractors were swallowed up by SDF Group of reference 5, while the cars were swallowed up by Audi, itself swallowed up by the Volkswagen Group. This last has a current share price, so perhaps they have not been swallowed up by anyone.
So now, I suppose, just a brand name. No family members to be seen anywhere, outside, that is, of the fleshpots to which they have presumably retired.
PS: following the complaint about Microsoft yesterday, to be found at reference 6, I turned up the necessary cable and have transferred 300 odd pictures by hand from my telephone to my laptop, of which the snap above is one. Hopefully this transfer will not further confuse OneDrive.
