I noticed our penchant for pouring legal resources into ancient history at reference 1 a few days ago. Then yesterday I remembered about the shooting in Huddersfield, more than two years ago now.
Checking this morning, there appears to have been no public update for over a year. What is the matter with us that we cannot put this incident to bed in a decent way, before it too becomes ancient history?
I am starting to wonder whether I should not trek up north and try to see the relevant police commissioner myself.
