Captured in preference to one in the covered car park between the High Street and the railway station as this last was being looked after by a couple of young people with problems. I declined to give money to one of them, whom I knew slightly, mainly on the grounds that it was not long since she had last touched me for a few quid and that her breath smelt of drink, making me think that the problems were probably substance related.
Would she have been luckier had I taken a drop myself by then?
