Grub

The New Year's Eve collation here at Epsom consisted of bacon, mushrooms and brown bread. Bacon from the people noticed at reference 1; unsmoked back, which was not what I intended, but which was fine just the same. Mushrooms from Sainsbury's. Bread from yours truly. Finger food, rather than the sandwiches one might have made with white bread. Washed down with a further spot of the 2016 Rolly Gassmann Gewürztraminer noticed at reference 2.

With the main course for New Year's Day breakfast being porridge tarted up with honey from Kent. A surprising change from our usual soft brown sugar.
