A wet Saturday morning

The sink
The water running down the garden collects in the pool back left, comes down the channel artfully left in the concrete bench in the middle and runs into the soakaway right. Rather busier in real life than appears in this snap. And a soakaway which presently seems to be holding its own, unlike during the floods of a few weeks ago.

The source
The water collects in the ponds, then runs out right to the path, just visible bottom right, and so down to the patio (aka behind the garage) pool of the previous snap.

Primroses coming
Fritillaries coming
While further back, in what was supposed to be the new daffodil bed, the primroses are coming and the fritillaries are coming. Both centred in their snaps.

Elephants' ears come
While out the front, the elephants' ears have definitely arrived. Bergenia cordifolia 'Purpurea' to the cognoscenti among you. £6.99 from the RHS plant shop at Wisley, quite possibly from the very same nursery in the Netherlands as is favoured by Chessington Garden Centre a few miles up the road. No idea where these particular ones came from. Maybe they came with the house, our predecessor having been a keen & capable gardener.
