Trolley 362

The first two trolleys for a while were captured in the Ashmore passage this morning - with one of them on its side behind the fence. Returned to the M&S grill, not then open, in the Ashley Centre.

Indeed, about all that was open at around 1015, were the half a dozen or so cafés dotted around the Ashley Centre and the wider town centre, with around half of them being branches of one of the big chains. Which all goes to show that if you fancy working long hours for low pay, join the catering sector. One in a million of you will  make it to the dizzy (and mouthy) heights of Tim Wetherspoon.

Snap oddly dark, even allowing for my being in shadow and for the cloud and lack of sun. Hopefully not a sign of trouble with the telephone. Did I press some exposure button without knowing

While a bit further along my way, I spotted what seemed like my first catkins, in the alley behind Sainsbury's known to generations of Glynn school boys (and now school girls) as snaky alley. But their snap was too dark to be helpful, even as an aide-memoire.

PS: later: at least part of the answer seems to be that I had forgotten to plug my laptop back in and it was in power saving mode...
