Otherwise a tweet. Not that wood pigeons are uncommon, but recent behaviour in our back garden is new. That is to say a dozen or so of them turn up and wonder about for a bit, usually in little groups. Quite a lot of poking about in the grass of the back lawn. The local cats do not yet seem to be taking any notice.
With the dozen or so noticed a few minutes ago, say less than ten, now dwindling. Probably all be gone again in a few more minutes.
