Europe in the lead

Europe seems to be back in the hot seat for coronavirus, wealth and fancy health-care systems notwithstanding, driving the world total well beyond the first peak in April. Given our failure to contain it by other means, let's hope that immunisation works in time for us to celebrate the Easter holidays next year in the traditional fashion. Packed car parks at Camber Sands and all that sort of thing. Maybe we well get to visit the Gallivant Hotel again - who have been sending me hopeful emails throughout.

With thanks to the Financial Times for use of its graphic - which I have made no attempt to check. I rely on its price and its good name.
