Started the day well with the tweet of a small flock of redwings feeding on the Clay Hill Green, the first time I recall seeing any there. Some with clear red markings, some with green backs.
Continued into town and through the tunnel to Screwfix, capturing this trolley just beyond the exit from the tunnel. Wheel lock present but not deployed.
Having returned the trolley to Kiln Lane, coming back to the junction of Longmead Road and Hook Road, I found that that the damaged trolley which has been in the stream there for some weeks had been taken away.
Perhaps the group of Korean litter pickers, featured in this week's Comet, are muscling into the trolley scene. To judge from their triumphant collection of bagged litter, they are certainly muscling into the litter scene. Pleased that they are doing it, not so pleased that there was so much of it for them to do. The people from the building featured at reference 1.
