Menu

The menu tonight was soused Craster kippers (from Waitrose) with boiled vegetables. Rather good.

A couple of substantial, flat cakes from the newish Polish shop in Ewell Village for dessert. A sort of bread based version of a Danish pastry, one with a custard filling, one with a cheesecake filling. Also rather good and not dear at all.

Plus some kabanosi for another time, the first time that the Polish shop have had them. A bit damp from the packet yet, but they will probably dry out in a bit.

Plus some Père Magloire Calvados (also from Waitrose) to wash it down with.
