For some reason, possibly Easter related, at around 12:00 today, there was a great deal of traffic coming from Morden and beyond approaching what used to the Organ Inn crossroads (before then the Organ Inn roundabout), and we were sat in a queue there for quite some minutes, maybe as many as ten.
Coming the other way, was a regular feast of cars with plates in the twenties and thirties, although not the No.32 which was next in line. But there was a No.26, scored on a provisional basis back in early February, noticed at reference 1, but not actually seen then or since. Strictly speaking, the present sighting is out of order, but I still think that it would now be in order to withdraw my submission to the rules committee. While maintaining my position at No.31, going on No.32.
PS 1: the Street View people clearly chose a day when this junction was not busy.
PS 2: we celebrated buttoning down No.26 with beef pies from the Manor Green Road butcher. Two times steak and kidney for him. One times steak and onion for her. Taken with crinkly cabbage and mashed potato. Very good they were too. First time we have done such a thing when not on holiday for quite a while.
