Series 3, Episode II

Following the stunt noticed at reference 1, Polly thought she would like to try the famous cottage pies sold in the diners of Fresno, California. Made by authentic immigrants from southern England who went over during the outbreak of sheep murrain in the middle of the nineteenth century, taking their secret family recipes with them.

While she was there, she thought she might as well pop up El Capitan in the nearby Yosemite National Park and she is snapped here on the summit, facing west. That is to say she is facing west and you, the reader, are facing east. Just one portion of cottage pie and a small tub of yellow custard in her lunch box.

A chap called Randy Lloyd acted as her guide up the mountain, possibly a senior consulting engineer at the Idaho National Laboratory - and it is always possible that he was using Polly as cover for some secret mission, probably some sort of government cover-up. He did have a very big back-pack and he is not visible at reference 1. That aside, he did know the best diners for cottage pie. Some of them even ran to boiled crinkly cabbage. Bliss!

PS: Grandpa has been practising with remove background. It is getting better.
