Both the impressionable young shop-girl (in a convenience store in Ashtead) and I were rather shocked at this image, reproduced in large on the front of yesterday's Guardian. Such behaviour on the part of the Guardian is clearly inviting further regulation, should the non-smoking, non-drinking Corbie ever make it to the hot seat.
Capped this morning by, for the first time for a very long time, by my taking two fried egg rolls for breakfast, only mitigated by the use of rape seed oil rather than lard to do the frying. Not bad all the same. And the soft white rolls from the baker in Ashtead were not bad either.
