A first bacon sandwich for a while this morning, taken on one of the seat out front at the Luna Coffee House in Ewell West, only slightly off my normal route home from Jubilee Way. Cool, but for the duration of a fine bacon sandwich fine, particularly since I was still warm from cycling. With a slightly less al fresco arrangement having been confected down the side.
Plenty of passing traffic, but the only noteworthy plate was a No.25. Nothing at all in either the thirties or forties.
Home down Longmead Road where I was reminded of the poor state of the road surface. Not good for bicycles at all; so much so that I forgot to look to see whether the orange caravan was open, which it had not been on Bank Holiday Monday. Perhaps it gets most of it custom from the businesses on the industrial estate which do shut on bank holidays.
